Revocation of GST registration cancellation means getting your cancelled GST number restored. When a GST officer cancels your registration due to non-compliance, you can apply for revocation to reactivate your GSTIN and resume normal business operations legally.
This process is only applicable when the cancellation was initiated by tax authorities—not for voluntary cancellations. Successful revocation allows you to issue GST invoices, collect GST, and claim Input Tax Credit again.
